The Ocean House provided a charming and cozy atmosphere with its historic character. The room was well-maintained, featuring a newly updated mattress that ensured a comfortable sleep. Breakfast included a variety of healthy options, along with coffee and flavored water available throughout the day. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, assisting with luggage and local dining recommendations. The location was just a short walk to the beach, making it convenient for both relaxation and work.
Parking can be challenging, and the building lacks central air.

Absolutely loved the charming porch for breakfast! Our bags were whisked away at checkout—felt like royalty! Emma was just delightful, making our stay even better.
But honestly, more charging outlets would have been fab—my phone was more desperate for juice than I was for another muffin!

The location sits close to the beach. I enjoyed having coffee available all day and the wrap-around porch was nice for relaxing. I loved the array of breakfast options, which made mornings enjoyable.
Parking posed a challenge, as street parking was not allowed. Climbing the stairs became tiring, especially with several trips up and down each day.

Couples looking for a quiet retreat
The room was clean and cozy, with everything we needed at our fingertips. Plus, the breakfast spread was very nice, fresh muffins and fruit every morning made it feel special.
It wasn't cheap, but considering the experience, I’d say it was worth it.

perfect base for beach walks and park views near everything
My stay was lovely, especially since the beach was just a short walk away and I also enjoyed the beautiful views of Marucci Memorial Park just down the road. it made exploring so easy for weekend city strolls! While the room could use some updates, the warmth and friendliness of the staff truly made me feel at home.

Parking is a nightmare with only ten slots for about thirty-five rooms. you’ll often find yourself hunting for a spot a block away. The absence of an elevator makes the frequent stairs a challenge, especially for those with a bad back like mine, and the outdated decor gives off more of a tired vibe than a quaint one. Also, no fridge in the room left me wishing for a cold drink after the beach.
